Accessibility - Britannia Parks Ltd
Accessibility help
It is essential to us that our website is accessible to as many visitors as possible, regardless of any disability. To do this, we have worked hard to implement the Accessibility Guidelines set out by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). Below you will find advice on how to make the most of the website using integrated features and those of your browser.
Spoken Word
This new feature of the Britannia Parks website enables users to listen to the text on screen, in natural spoken audio. Not every section of the site has this facility, but we've ensured that all the key
areas of the site now have the spoken word feature enabled.
To play audio content for a page, press the triangular 'play' button at the top right of the screen, just under the large Britannia Parks Ltd logo. If audio content for a particular
page is unavailable, the button will appear faded and the audio function will not be accessible.
In some instances, the audio content of a page may not exactly match the written content. As such, it's always a good idea to ring us to find out
the latest information about our parks and the homes we have available.
Screen resolution
The website has been designed to appear best on a monitor with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or above.
Increasing or decreasing text size
Some visitors may find it necessary to increase or decrease the size of the text appearing on screen. There are several options for doing this.
To use our built-in text resizer, simply click on the three text size option buttons at the top right of the screen, just under the large Britannia Parks Ltd logo.
Alternatively, to use your browser's text resizer:
- PC users can press and hold the 'Ctrl' key and use the '+' or '-' keys to alter the font size up or down
- Mac users can press and hold the 'Cmd' key and use the '+' or '-' keys to alter the font size up or down
- Microsoft Internet Explorer users can select 'View', then 'Text Size'. This will allow users to select from five text sizes, ranging from 'Smallest' to 'Biggest'
