The largest home park in the country, Kings Park Village is a perfect example of park home living at its best. With a shop, laundrette, post box and social club all on the park, a multitude of day to day needs are catered for on residents' doorsteps. The 24 hour security team are always on hand to look after the park. The magnificent lake in the middle of the park is a favoured spot in which to indulge in a bit of fishing or wildlife spotting.
Although almost all daily needs are catered for on the park, there are several other shops, restaurants and supermarkets on the island and in nearby Benfleet. The town centre on the island has all the amenities expected of a modern town centre, including a butcher, baker and supermarket. The park is adjacent to the superb Canvey Heights Country Park with its stunning views and there are several sailing clubs on the island.
The park's close proximity to the Thames Estuary means that it is a perfect base from which to take part in various water-related activities, from fishing to sailing. The island has a recently redeveloped seafront with a cinema and the famous Labworth Restaurant. The Castle Point Golf Club is within easy reach of the park and there are several further golfing and country parks on the mainland.
There is a bus stop at the entrance to the park, with buses running to the town centre and on to other destinations. Nearby Benfleet train station has direct trains to London, reaching the capital in less than an hour. Both Stansted and Gatwick airports are less than an hour by car, providing excellent links to major destinations throughout the UK and Europe.
From junction 30 of the M25, take the A13 towards Basildon. Approximately 14 miles past Basildon, turn right onto the A130 towards Canvey Island. At the roundabout, take second exit and pass straight over the first small roundabout. After approximately a mile, turn left onto Dovervelt Road. At the next small roundabout, turn left into Creek Road and the park will be directly in front of you.
