Kingsmead Park

Situated within walking distance of the town, the park is approached by a private road and is therefore a good distance from the main road. This makes for a very quiet and peaceful environment, while being close to the amenities of Rushden.

About Kingsmead Park

The park has tar macadam roads and car parking is available throughout the park. Some homes have on-plot parking and garden sheds and there is a communal recreation area in the centre of the park. For keen gardeners, there are allotments in the field adjacent to the park.

Rushden has a good selection of shops, restaurants and medical facilities and is only half a mile from the park. There is a bus service directly to the park and there is also a bus service from the main road that covers Bedford, Kettering and Northampton. Rushden is the largest town in East Northamptonshire and is well served by strategic roads. The A45 is situated to the north of the town, the A6 runs through the town and the A605 runs from the A6 to the A141, east of Peterborough. There is a train station at Kettering that gives access to the countrywide rail network.

Most recreational activities can be found in the area including the Santa Pod racetrack. Due to an abundance of rivers and other watercourses, fishing is a favourite pastime in the area.
