About Peppercorn Park

The Bedford & County Golf Club is near to the park and the area has a wealth of other recreational activities such as fishing and horse riding.

This well-established park benefits from tar macadam roads and car parking is available throughout the park. Peppercorn Park is almost completely surrounded by countryside and is away from main roads, ensuring a peaceful and quiet lifestyle for residents. The park has several mature trees and hedges that further enhance its rural aspect.

Clapham Village has numerous public houses and several small shops and churches on its small high street and a regular bus service will take you the short distance into Bedford Town. Clapham has a dentist’s practice on the high street and a doctor is available in nearby Oakley, as well as at larger practices in nearby Bedford. Other major shopping outlets and supermarkets can also be found in Bedford.

For those wishing to travel further afield there is a mainline train station in the town and the M1 motorway is easily reached both of which give easy access to London or other towns such as Milton Keynes or Luton.
