A mature countryside park in north Cornwall, Tregatillian Park is a haven of peace and quiet. The park is surrounded on most sides by wonderful Cornish countryside and is home to many varieties of birdlife and wildlife. The adjacent wildlife field is a perfect location for nature walks and deer are regularly spotted roaming. The homes on Tregatillian Park have generous plots with lovely views of the rolling hills in the distance. For those keen gardeners there is the opportunity of renting your own allotment for a minimal fee. Although not a large town, nearby St Columb Major has a wide range of local shops to meet most daily needs. There are frequent visitors to the park being a local butcher delivering their produce, a mobile library and LPG gas supplier. Newquay is approximately 9 miles from the park and has further amenities such as supermarkets and a leisure centre.

Nearby attractions


Located less than 10 miles from the seaside town of Newquay, the park is convenient for access to the North Cornwall coastline with its variety of beaches and coastal walks. Cornwall is often described as the 'garden capital of the world' and there are plenty of luscious tropical gardens to explore. There are several golf courses in the area and plenty of countryside walks and hikes. The traditional fishing port of Padstow is only 12 miles from the park.

Transport


Although a Tesco bus stops on the park every Thursday, the nearest daily bus stop is in St Columb Major, linking to other regional centres. The railway station at Newquay has a daily service to London, as well as regular links to other mainline stations. Newquay Airport has links to many destinations throughout the UK, as well as several European destinations.

Driving Directions


From the A30, take the Highgate Hill Roundabout onto the A39 towards St Columb Major. Continue on the A39, passing through two roundabouts. Approximately 1 mile from the second roundabout, turn right towards Tregatillian. The park will be on your right hand side after approximately half a mile.
