Stately Albion Carolina

The Carolina is relaxed living at its most attractive - a completely new range of homes with loads of stylish features. The Carolina Lodge combines the comfort of a traditional British bungalow with the flare and appeal of a Colonial-style Lodge House, and Stately's designers are happy to admit to borrowing design inspiration from all over the world.

Many people like the idea of 'the Great Outdoors' on their own doorstep, and the verandah, or deck, is used in homes in many countries where they enjoy the chance to sit outside without leaving the house. In the design of the Lodge range, our designers have been influenced by two overlapping themes. One is the Game Park Lodge house, reflected in the timber details on the front gable and echoed inside by the vaulted ceiling. The other, and perhaps stronger influence, is the American colonial-style home of the southern USA. This is where you are most likely to see homes with a generous verandah deck - or front stoop as it is often called in the USA.
